The daily programme at the Hotel Dory, your Italy Bike Hotel

Arrival and accommodation in room, bicycle assembly or pick-up of hired bicycle, short unaccompanied trip to the area surrounding Riccione.

6.00 pm: welcome drink, information about the program, opportunities, offers, the city, the inland area and the itineraries. Every evening you’ll find the following day’s route on the notice board with details of the most interesting elements including the kilometers to be covered, the average speed, the altitudinal profile and the total distance to be covered uphill.

The departure in our Italy Bike Hotel is scheduled at 9.30 am every day (Swiss time), exception is the "Long Day" on Tuesday
9.30 am: ready, set, go!!! All the groups are off and the fun is about to begin! To favour the formation of groups of a uniform level, after an hour or about 20/25 km, in a pre-established place, it is possible to change groups.

7.30 pm: dinner "The scent of the sea". Fresh mussels au gratin and tarantine, mixed fried fish with balsamic vinegard, marinated sea bass, roasted octopus and seafood salads will enter the table and hearts.
After 3 to 4 hours cycling all the groups will meet in Vecciano at our country house. Barbecue with piada, grilled meat and vegetables, pizza, spaghetti, focaccia and lots of good wine! Special tasting of family balsamic vinegar.

12.00 am: accompanying cyclists can join us thanks to a handy minibus service.
4.30 pm: our “cyclists’ street market”.

8.30 am: A day dedicated to special excursions with an early departure and return envisaged at around 3.00/4.00 pm.
The challenge day! Picturesque villages, ancient castles and breathtaking landscapes will repay you for any effort.
Free morning. Sunset bike tour in the afternoon.
7.00 pm: "Typical Romagna dinner" in the hotel with tasting of local products, all rigorously homemade and tasting of Sangiovese wine and limoncino.
Excursions as planned.
For all groups, a tour has been planned with a stop to sample typical local products, such as oil, wine, cheeses, cold cuts and cakes, at an agritourism farm. Those who don’t want to stop to sample these products can continue the tour by bicycle.
Opportunity to enjoy dinner in the beautiful city of Santarcangelo in a typical trattoria, subject to payment of a fee.
7.30 pm: dinner in hotel dedicated to "Piadina", the typical dish of Romagna of ancient tradition.

Excursions for all groups based on the program. In the evening “Flavors and Fragrances Dinner”.
