The Sports Centres

Riccione has a large, modern sports complex: the Olympic Swimming Stadium, the Athletics Stadium, Play hall, the Federal Squash Centre and much more. They’re all linked together and close to the most beautiful park in Riccione.

At the Dory you’re less than 1 km from the town’s sports complex, which you can walk to or get to using our shuttle bus service.

RICCIONE “PLAY HALL” SPORTS HALL

A large centre designed to host sporting and other events: every year it welcomes the karate championships, the ACSI skating championships in the skating rink adjacent to the hall, table tennis tournaments, fencing and much more. It is also ideal for training sessions, conferences, corporate and club meetings, exhibitions and shows. It has a capacity for around 3,000 people.

“ITALO NICOLETTI” SPORTS CENTRE

A large area near the sports hall where various sports can be practiced in modern facilities:

- Athletics track: eight-lane ring track, throwing area and equipment for activities;

- Olympic swimming pool, indoor and outdoor, with diving area;

- Federal squash centre: FIGS federal technical centre, with 7 parquet squash courts;

- Baseball and softball stadium, floodlit and with stands;

- Multi-purpose indoor gym;

- Six indoor tennis courts;

- Padel courts.
